Battles, Bloodshed And Tears #1
There once was a man
Named Todd Philips
He was a failure at everything in his life
So it would make sense for him to quit
Six months ago Todd was
Diagnosed with terminal cancer
And every now and then he’d question himself
But he was never able to uncover the answers
Death was just around the corner
Practically tapping on his shoulder
It was summer but Todd’s body temperature
Was becoming increasingly colder
Todd did have a girlfriend
One that loved him so much
But she left him for a rich man
Which in his case was conditional love
All he wanted was to be happy
And to live a life of success
But failure just kept following him
Deteriorating his safety net
He was going to be a broadcast journalist
For he loved to entertain
Loved being the center of attention
In front of a camera lens he gains
Indestructible confidence though
When he was unprepared
Things would get a little intense
But now the tide is low and it looks like
He’ll never be able to accomplish these things now
To over come these obstacles
He wouldn’t even know how because
Failure has determined
Every aspect of his life
He’s never had a say or decision over anything
And that’s why he feels so low and insecure
There’s nothing out there
That could possibly reassure him
That everything was gonna be okay
Because they weren’t no not ever
Will he have things his way
So since he was gonna die
He was gonna live it up
So he decided to write a list of things to do
Before he bites the dust
