Burning

© 2009 Midnight_Ranae

the smiles
the laughter
all pretense
a facade if you will
the calm before the storm
the flames erupted though
burning the flesh from the inside out
hot liquid heat erupted in burst of pain the agony unbearable
tearing
clawing at the face and hair
sweat forming and breaths coming short
screaming silently
from the inside
heart beating harshly
counting how many seconds left
