This one’s for you.
What I want and what I need
are always one and the same.
For them to be separate entities
would make me feel ashamed.
I would never ask for more than I needed
and i would never take more than I could get.
And why should I explain all of this?
It’s simple.
I want you.
I need you.
Like the air I breathe,
I’ll never know just how much I need you
until you’re out of my reach.
But I won’t float away
because everything I need is here on the ground
and you’re keeping me down.
