Crying Sky
Don’t gimme that look like you just don’t care…
You care..you care as much as that big black bear
staring right at you!
SIGH, SIGH you’ve got my eye
that stares deep into your soul
Peers into the crack & crevice of your whole
Can’t you see me seeing you?
I cried my eye so dry that I might have a sty
A sty that won’t buy anything you belt my way!
GO! GO!! GO AWAY leave me for some other day
Children’s games have yet to play
Play away through the night & day,
evening comes morning goes.
Sacrifice your way through the forest,
up to the mountains where rains come
to wash away the dirt on your face.
Smoky eyes & hazy days make fighting hard.
Some days I ask “What for?”
Empty skies make no reveal, pay no attention, make no appeal.
Close up shop, shut it down.
Covet no more the things of this world.

Fry
Fry fry fry up the rye
make it so it don’t make to much fire
Why why don’t you lie
lie to the people who make it a pyre
Dry dry dry up your eye
don’t take it to the streets where you won’t get hired
Up and down, left and right, black and white don’t make it right
