Even though I might be wankered

Nothing is ever found without sacrifice
Even through torment and strife
Ive held my head up high
Yet Ive never spoke without a lie.
Too many have believed in me
Yet I feel they were too blind to see
They took the time and gave it their all
I took the piss and played them for the fool.
Tonight I see the mistakes I made
As the thoughts of what were are over-played
Tonight I take that leap
Even though it may bury me six foot deep.
