Can you be my fairytale?

Can you be my fairytale?
I was just wondering,
Can you make me happy always?
But do you know when to let me cry.
Oh this is just something on my mind,
I was just wondering,
If you would be my fairytale, tonight.

And if tonight will stretch into forever,
Or will it end when we wake up,
Cause you know that’s not my fairytale.
I won’t regret, I know you’ve got to make mistakes,
If you’re to truly know what’s right
And I think I can see my fairytale in you,
Can you be my fairytale tonight?

Will you know when to bring roses?
And when to leave them on the floor,
Cause you know that all I’ll want is your arms
And a few words you know exactly how too say,
Do you love me with a love even I can’t fight?
Do you know exactly how I need everything to be?
Can you be my fairytale tonight?

I wonder if you know what my castle looks like,
How the clouds crowd around its spires,
Everyone would want a piece of our happiness,
And everyone would feel the love like they felt the sun
On their skin, the sun’s fact and the sun is right,
That’s how we’d be in my fairytale and I was wondering,
Have I found my fairytale tonight?

You would know that your stolen kisses,
Were in truth given freely and with love,
But it’s just more fun if we pretend,
You’d know when the chase was over,
But you’d keep on running through the night,
Because you know that I love it that way,
And you know that you’re my fairytale and everything’s all right.

In my fairytale I wouldn’t get bored
And I wouldn’t have to be cruel to save us both,
And no one would hate that I loved you,
There would be no skeletons to tear you away,
And in my fairytale even if I wasn’t always right
It would always be okay to be wrong,
And our love would last much longer than just one fairytale night.

Can you be my fairytale?
I was just wondering,
Can you make me happy always?
But do you know when to let me cry.
Oh this is just something on my mind,
I was just wondering,
If you would be my fairytale, tonight.
