2012 Will Be a Busy Year for Dunwoody Gardeners
Anniversary of the Dunwoody Nature Center.The Nature Center was incorporated on Jan. 30, 1992 but will hold celebrations marking its two decades later in the year. That’s because the website and logo are being redesigned and celebration plans will be announced with the launch of the center’s updated site and new look, Executive Director Alan Mothner said last week.
“The Dunwoody Nature Center is incredibly proud to have been a part of this community for the past 20 years,” he added. “We were founded by the community and we continue to serve the community by following our mission to inspire the love of nature and cultivate environmental understanding and stewardship.
“We are so excited about all of the great things we have planned for 2012 and beyond that will continue to make the Dunwoody Nature Center a hub for all things environmental in Dunwoody and our neighboring communities.”
