My shed, my kingdom
Rosie Hilton-Wood points out two figures at the rear of the Nichols Point shed.
They are full-size mannequins; one is dressed in a sports coat and grass skirt that the family picked up on a Fijian holiday, the other is decked out as a pirate - recently featured in a buck's party.
"Just anything of interest, the 'junkier' the better," says Ms Hilton-Wood of the belongings kept by her husband here.
"Old tools, mainly, that was one of his favourites - and there are lots of those; we have old railway tools in here somewhere," she says.
"Over there is a stuffed mongoose, because there is some sort of a legend that they still retain their poison even after they're stuffed!"
Ms Hilton-Wood says the shed has always been a place for parties and 'small weekly gatherings of blokes'.
Hidden amongst it all is man trap and plenty of rabbit traps, some of them labelled with their original brands; a collection of McDonald's giveaways has found a home here, as has an old Mexican hat from a clearing sale.
