Step onto any sales lot of Lexington-based Bunce Buildings, and you will likely come up with a whole new definition for the word “storage.” You’ll find a variety of products ranging from Amish barns and wooden buildings to sheds and cottage style playhouses. Bunce Buildings has seen so much demand for its custom-made storage products that it is planning to open two additional locations annually during the next five years — all while keeping the company’s philosophy on customer service intact, of course.
“We are going to treat them like family,” says Beth Bunce, the company’s president. “We want people to be satisfied.”
What does the company do?
Bunce Buildings is a family-owned company that sells a variety of buildings, sheds, gazebos, garages and carports. Product prices can generally range from $1,295 to as much as $8,500, but the average sale is about $3,500, Bunce says.
Bunce Buildings operates several sales locations in the Triad located within a 60 mile radius of its headquarters in Lexington. Bunce says a new leased location is slated to open in Kannapolis this month.
