You already have the chairs placed and the guests seated. The focal point of any wedding ceremony is the altar. The altar is where the bride , groom, wedding party and person officiating the ceremony stand during the ceremony. It can add alot to the altar to have some sort of place the bride and groom stand under such as an arbor or arch. Some venues already come with arches or gazebos, however, if you do not have a venue that does there are companies that you can rent these from that will delivery and set them up. Arches serve well for garden settings and are made of iron and wood. Chuppahs or arbors are usually 4 post and are draped in a fabric covering. Boonville bed and breakfast preps for wedding season
As spring approaches, so does wedding season. And with more and more couples choosing the non-traditional route, Boonville's High Street Victorian Bed & Breakfast has decided to jump on board.
Owners Kriss and Gene Royer have revamped their outdoor space, which includes views of the Missouri River, into an outdoor wedding venue.
"Our wedding packages can include everything from your wedding to your honeymoon accommodations," said Kriss Royer. "We work hard to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and our wedding packages include the use of our wedding coordinator who will help make your big day the way you've always imagined."
Two-tiered decks allow for seating of 20 to 30 guests. A secret garden gives the bridal party a staging area and a flower-lined path under arbors leads the way to a pergola.
"It's perfect for a quite, little wedding," Royer said. "We wanted to be able to offer this great home to more people and weddings allow us to do that. It's simply gorgeous."
